Having previously worked as a SEND Teaching Assistant on London Road and supported organisations tackling youth violence through mentoring and educational programmes, I am committed to ensuring young people’s voices are heard and reflected in council decision-making, while championing opportunities that help them thrive.

I am also Labour’s Shadow Cabinet member for Parks & Culture.

Work wise I am the Senior Communications and Campaigns Officer to a Member of Parliament, where I lead strategic communications, media engagement and public-facing campaigns.

Before this, I worked for the Local Government Association and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), supporting communications, stakeholder engagement and campaigns that helped town centres attract investment, increase footfall and strengthen local communities.

I hold a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kent
